Rent‘T’Own

The starting point to experience the beautiful state of Alaska is its hub, Anchorage. Alaska Car & Van Rentals is right in the heart of Anchorage, what we call Mid-Town.

The Hub

Map of things to do outside Anchorage, including Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and the Kenai Peni

We are right on the Seward Highway, ready to head south to the Kenai Peninsula at a moment's notice.

Or head the opposite direction on the Seward Highway, to go north to the Matanuska Valley, Denali Park, and Fairbanks. Just as you reach downtown Anchorage, you connect with the Glenn Highway, following that to any of your northern destinations.

Equally enjoyable is remaining right here in Anchorage. As spread out as Anchorage is, you will still want to be sure to have a rental car, to take in all of the amazing sights that Anchorage has, where you can find a variety of activities to do and an infinite number of things to see:

Alaska Experience Theater

You can experience ALL of Alaska, in just a few hours, at the  Alaska Experience Theater. Stand in awe of the unparalleled beauty of the dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis. Feel the power of an earthquake and learn of the devastation caused by the largest quake ever to impact North America. Witness with respect the magnificent wildlife, true natives of the area, from the mighty grizzly bear to the majestic moose.

Alaskan Sled Dogs

How about our tame four-legged friends? Experience dog sled mushing at its most hilarious with dinner and a show, narrated by one of our very own famous mushing families and the stars of the show, their equally famous Alaskan sled dogs.

Native Heritage Center

Visit our  Native Heritage Center  where you can immerse yourself in the uplifting music and dance, explore the curious and unique dwellings, and admire the beautiful arts and crafts of the various Native groups indigenous to Alaska.

Alaska Wildberry Products

Museums
