To ensure that all of our Alaskan friends are considerate of each other, we have State laws that require us to consider our fellow drivers on the road as we travel.
- Please drive with your headlights on at all times, especially on Highways 1 and 3. This helps other drivers to see you, and allows you to see other drivers.
- When on Highways 1 or 3 and you are at the front of a line of more than five vehicles, please use one of the vehicle pull-off areas to allow the vehicles behind you to pass.
